JuomaInfo Launches on 2 November – Product and Price Comparison for Finland’s Beverage Market

JuomaInfo will launch on 2 November 2026, bringing beverage information, product and price comparison, and purchasing options together for Finnish consumers. At launch, the service will include comparisons with products in Alko Oy’s selection, helping consumers assess participating retailers’ offers against a familiar Finnish reference.

For DrinkData, the launch marks a practical step towards connecting European beverage retailers with Finnish consumers. Alongside JuomaInfo, we are developing services for independent Finnish retailers and major Finnish e-commerce operators, with launches targeted for January 2027.

Helping Consumers Compare Their Options

Finding a beverage online is only the beginning. Consumers also need to understand what they are buying, how the price compares and whether the retailer offers a purchasing option that suits them.

JuomaInfo will bring together product information, prices and links to participating retailers. Comparison with Alko’s selection will be part of the service from launch, helping consumers assess familiar products, explore alternatives and discover something new.

A useful comparison involves more than the displayed bottle price. Product identity, bottle size, availability and delivery costs all affect the purchasing decision. Our aim is to make these differences understandable and help consumers assess the options available to them.

Clear Purchasing Options

Different retailers serve Finnish consumers in different ways. JuomaInfo will distinguish between retailers offering delivery to Finland and those offering online ordering for collection abroad.

A consumer looking for home delivery should be able to identify relevant retailers without confusing their offers with products that must be collected in another country.

JuomaInfo provides information and helps consumers discover purchasing options. Purchases are made through participating retailers’ online shops, where customers can review the applicable terms, delivery arrangements and final order total.

A Finnish Consumer Channel for European Retailers

For European beverage retailers, entering Finland requires both operational readiness and the ability to reach local consumers.

JuomaInfo’s product and price comparison gives participating merchants a way to present their selection in a context Finnish consumers recognise. Finnish-language information and clearly described purchasing options can help customers understand an unfamiliar retailer’s offer.

DrinkData is working with retailers, producers and other partners on several forms of cooperation, including:

  • product and merchant visibility through JuomaInfo;
  • Finnish-language content and localisation;
  • performance-based affiliate partnerships;
  • white-label online retail projects; and
  • coordination with specialist tax, regulatory and logistics partners.

Some merchants want to introduce their existing online shop to Finnish customers. Others are exploring a localised storefront or a broader partnership for the market. Our cooperation models are being developed to accommodate these different starting points.

New Services for Finnish Retailers and E-Commerce Operators

Alongside JuomaInfo, we are preparing juomat.shop, a service designed to help independent Finnish retailers offer their customers new ways to benefit from the opening of the beverage market.

Local retailers have established customer relationships and an important role in their communities. Our aim is to connect those strengths with a broader beverage selection and new online purchasing opportunities.

The planned service will support cooperation between Finnish retailers and beverage partners, including white-label models and the development of the JuomaInfo collection-point network.

We are also developing corresponding services tailored to major Finnish e-commerce operators. These projects follow the same principle: enabling partners to introduce beverage purchasing opportunities through their own brands and customer channels, with a service model adapted to their business.

Our target is to launch both juomat.shop and the tailored services for major e-commerce partners in January 2027. Individual launch dates and service availability will be confirmed as preparations progress.

For European beverage partners, these initiatives could provide additional routes to Finnish consumers through local retailers and established e-commerce platforms. For Finnish partners, they offer opportunities to expand customer services and develop new revenue streams.

Alcohol-Free Beverages Are Part of the Service

JuomaInfo’s scope includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

We want consumers to be able to discover products across categories and find options for different occasions and preferences. Alcohol-free wines, beers, sparkling beverages and other drinks belong in that same discovery experience.

For retailers and producers, this also creates opportunities to introduce a wider range of products to Finnish consumers.

From the November Launch Towards January 2027

JuomaInfo’s launch on 2 November is the starting point for a service that will continue to expand.

Our immediate focus is on product information, comparison and participating merchants’ purchasing options. During the following months, we will work on expanding the selection, onboarding partners and developing affiliate cooperation.

In parallel, preparations will continue for juomat.shop, the tailored services for major Finnish e-commerce partners and the planned JuomaInfo collection-point network.

These developments have separate schedules. JuomaInfo’s November launch will introduce the consumer information and comparison service, while January 2027 is the target for the new retail and e-commerce services. We will announce individual services and delivery options as they become ready.

Join the Development

DrinkData welcomes discussions with European beverage retailers, producers, independent Finnish retailers, e-commerce operators and logistics partners interested in working with us.

Whether the starting point is product visibility, a localised online shop or a wider retail partnership, our objective is the same: to make beverage information and purchasing options easier for Finnish consumers to understand and use.

JuomaInfo launches on 2 November 2026.
